IMMIGRATION LAWYER MARK C. DALY, PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

Santa Barbara, California Immigration Law office:
When I graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Law in 1999 and passed the California bar that same year, I knew that I wanted to practice Immigration Law. I had grown up in Southern California and had learned how to speak Spanish from studying in elementary school, junior high and high school and from interacting with my friends and community. I had traveled through Mexico several times and had studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain. I had a degree in Political Science from University of California, San Diego (1984) and had specialized in US-Mexican Studies. I had worked with Dr. Wayne Cornelius on his immigration/migration study in the San Diego area and had written my honors thesis on land reform policies in Northern Mexico. I had also worked with my mother, Sybil J. Daly for four years in her immigration law office as a paralegal alongside my brother, Jim Daly while attending law school and had landed an internship with the Immigration Legal Assistance Program with the Los Angeles County Bar (1995-1999). I also attended several AILA annual conventions and local meetings while in law school.

The strange thing was, even though I knew I wanted to practice Immigration Law, I felt like it would be a good idea to branch out and try something different. So after passing the California Bar in 1999 I hired on with a Santa Barbara construction law firm and began working in complex civil litigation cases. I was attending depositions with 20 attorneys asking tile manufacturers about the processes used in their product because somebody’s bathroom didn’t turn out the way they wanted. The volume of paper and work expended on these matters seemed to me like a waste of time and energy, so in 2002 I started working as an immigration attorney again in Santa Barbara and founded Immigration and Naturalization Attorneys.

Nashville, Tennessee Immigration Law office:
In 2004 I moved from Santa Barbara, California to Nashville, Tennessee and continued practicing immigration law. I later changed the company name to CINA – the Community of Immigration and Naturalization Attorneys, and later IVA, the Immigration Visa Attorneys. I enjoy helping immigrants with their problems, both large and small, and have designed services that meet their wide range of needs. For eight years I built a reputation for exceptional customer service, great results and high value in the Nashville community. I practiced before the USCIS, USICE, Immigration Court/Executive Office of Immigration Review and U.S. Embassies and Consulates across the globe.

In December of 2012 I sold the CINA office in Nashville to a colleague, Dawn Gerhart. She has re-named the office CINA Nashville is continuing with the passionate advocacy for immigrants in Nashville.

Memphis, Tennessee Immigration Law offices:
Practicing immigration law in Nashville was a challenge because the closest USCIS office was in Memphis at 842 Virginia Run Cove, Memphis, TN 38122. In addition, the closest immigration court to Nashville was located at the Clifford B. Davis Federal Building, 167 North Main, Room 460, Memphis, TN 38103. So that is when I decided to open up a satellite office in Memphis at 119 South Main Street, Suite 500, Memphis, TN. Now I have a great relationship with an excellent attorney in Memphis, Babetta Gray-Boggs at 155 North Main St., Suite 203, Collierville, TN 38017. She is carrying on the philosophies of Pro Forma and is a great immigration lawyer in Memphis.

Denver and Boulder, Colorado Immigration Law offices:
I started Pro Forma Immigration Attorneys in 2012 and am now residing near Denver, Colorado and have a great set of office locations spanning the front-range area of Colorado. The address for the main Pro Forma  office is 1624 Market Street, Suite 202, Denver, CO 80202

In addition, we serve clients from our other 7 locations:

From these offices I can make appearances and help people at Embassies all over the world, and at USCIS, Immigration Court and Immigration Detention Centers in Denver and across the United States.

Immigration Video Tutorials:
Every year millions of immigrants prepare and file their own forms. In 2007 I posted free videos on how to prepare adjustment of status applications for marriage based immigration cases. As of this date our channel US IMMIGRATION LAWYER has more than 1,000,000 views and more than 3,000 subscribers.

Immigration Form and Document Review:
Hundreds of people call me who have difficulty preparing their forms and need an immigration attorney to review their petitions and applications to the USCIS and Department of State. For this reason I have also begun providing Immigration Form and  Document Review to review and revise immigration paperwork for people who want to do it on their own and just need to feel comfortable sending in their paperwork. We schedule 2 hours – the first session is 90 minutes and the follow up session is 30 minutes. The cost is $949 and my clients use the online scheduler. Information on these services can be found on the Personal Immigration Form Consulting and Review page on this website or at www.stepbystepimmigrationforms.com.

Immigration Lawyer Training:
In 2007 I saw a post on the AILAlistserve by an attorney who needed to learn how to be an immigration lawyer “by following one around for a week.” I replied that I would train that attorney to be a competent immigration attorney in the area of family immigration law in a weekend, and three other attorneys responded that they too needed that service. Since that time I have been providing intensive mentoring/training to attorneys from all of the country in the fields of family immigration law, business immigration law and detention and removal immigration law. More information including training schedules, curriculum and fees can be found at www.immigrationlawyertraining.com. You can see a real testimonial from one of my students here.

We can assess your situation in our 15 minute $100 telephone consultation and usually quote you a fixed fee range.

Our Denver office is located at 1624 Market Street, Suite 202, Denver, Colorado 80202 our offices are easily reached via the free Mall Ride. Our Denver office is accessible from I-25, I-70, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Commerce City, the Denver Tech Center, Westminster, and Thornton.
